What actually happened

On 24 September 2026 Strada launched browser automation for insurance carrier portals and legacy web systems that have no API. A user records the task once. The agent replays it with that user’s existing login and permissions. Every run is recorded start to finish.

Strada already runs voice, chat and email agents for carriers, MGAs, wholesalers and TPAs. The browser layer sits in the same workflows. CEO Amir Prodensky’s line is blunt: if there is an API they use it; if there is not, the agent works the page.

You do not need Strada to recognise the job. Most small shops have one.

Why a small team cares

An ecommerce operator who logs into a supplier portal every morning to check stock is the example. No export. No webhook. Someone clicks.

n8n, Make and Zapier stop at the website. Old RPA could click too, but it took a specialist to keep selectors alive. Recording a pass and letting an agent drive the same screens is the cheaper version of that idea.

The win is the flow that used to break at the portal: email in, CRM check, agent reads the supplier site, CRM update, human only on the odd case. You cannot make the government site grow an API. You can increasingly use the page that already exists.

Hype vs useful

The hype is an agent that can operate any website you point it at. Pages move. Logins change. A popup appears. An agent that submits the wrong order is worse than no agent.

Useful is frequent, stable, checkable work. Read stock. Download the weekly PDF. Copy a status. Put a human gate on anything that spends money or changes a live record.

Strada itself is built for insurance operations, not a general SMB buy. Steal the test, not the vendor.
