Privacy Policy

01Journal data

Your beaches, notes, photos, visit history, collections, preferences and checklists are stored on your device. BeachLog has no account system and no BeachLog cloud service.

You control backup files created through Export. You can delete journal data in the app or remove it by uninstalling the app.

02Photos and location

BeachLog accesses a photo only when you choose it through the operating-system picker. It does not request your device location. Coordinates are entered or imported by you.

03Maps

Google Maps provides map tiles when you open a map. Google may receive connection and device information needed to deliver that service under its own privacy terms.

04Advertising

The free version displays Google AdMob advertising. AdMob and its partners may process device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived information, app interaction and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and consent. BeachLog presents Google’s consent flow where required. BeachLog Pro removes ads.

05Purchases

Google Play and RevenueCat handle purchases and may process purchase identifiers, transaction information and device or app details to verify and restore the one-time entitlement. BeachLog does not receive payment-card information.

06Sharing and sale

BeachLog does not sell your beach-journal data and does not send it to 8DIGITS. A backup or screenshot leaves your device only when you choose to export or share it.

07Retention and deletion

Local journal data remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Third-party providers retain their records under their own policies. You can request help with provider-held information through the contact below.

08Your choices

You can use BeachLog without an account, deny optional photo access by not selecting photos, manage advertising privacy options where offered, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

09Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its service providers change. The effective date identifies the current version.
